MARI FUKUTOME

Mari Fukutome is a dancer and choreographer. Fukutome formed the dance duo group “Ho Ho- Do” with Mika Arashiki in 2001 and began a solo career as a dancer and choreographer in 2014. Fukutome primarily produces site-specific dance projects in various venues using a variety of styles and improvisation. Fukutome’s work takes a variety of forms from collaborative and solo pieces, to workshops. Through her work she is seeking both experimental and original relations between dance, people and other things in the world. ​

ダンサー・振付家。2001年より新鋪美佳と共にダンスデュオほうほう堂として活動。’14年よりソロ活動開始。劇場やギャラリーでの作品発表をはじめ、道、川原、公園、誰かの家、誰かや何かとのコラボレーションなど、様々な場や状況、人と共に踊る。
