SAKIKO YAMAOKA
Sakiko Yamaoka is a artist based in Tokyo. By thoughts of Performance Art of that is a “destined” process for undertaking a body as one place //node, she has worked for events, moving images, photographies. Her theme has been sculpture of times, gazing, delusion, solitude, travel, public / individual space.
Since her performance in the exhibition “The Space” in Singapore (1992), she has taken part with various kind of art exhibitions and festival in more than 22 countries. She organized the event “Performance Art!” in The University Museum, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2000). She stayed and studied performance Art for half a year at E. P. I. Zentrum (Cologne, Germany) supported by Japan Foundation (2004). She presented her works in “National Review of Live Art” (Glasgow, U.K., 2007), “Art of Beginning”(Germany, 2007), “Curitiba Biennale” (Brazil, 2013).
The following are titles of her major pieces: “Garden”(2003~4), “Navels in the World”(2006), “We Are Elegant”(2007), “Angels are watching”(2010), “Sculpture of Eye Contact”(2013), “Principal of Fluidity”(2016).
山岡さ希子
山岡さ希子は、ひとつの場所・ノットとしての身体を引き受ける”運命的な”プロセスであるパフォーマンスアートの思想をベースに、パフォーマンスアート、イベント、映像、写真、ドゥローイングなどの作品にも取り組んでいるアーティストである。これまで、時間の彫刻、視線、妄想、孤立、公 共／個人空間、などがテーマとなってきた。1992年にシンガポールでの展覧会「The Space」に参加したのを皮切りに、22カ国の様々なアートフェスティバルや展覧会に参加してきた。2000年芸大美術館にて「Performance Art!」というイベント企画。2004年国際交流基金の派遣事業でドイツ、ケルンのE.P.I.Zentrumに半年滞在研究と制作。2005年「横浜港湾行為借景計画」では２人のドイツのアーティストと、10人の日本のアーティストたちとコラボ企画。2007年グラスゴーのNational Review of Live Artから招待。「Art of Begegnung2」の企画でドイツ5都市を巡る。2013年、クリティバビエンナーレ招待参加（Brazil)、2015年ウプサラ美術館にての日本のアーティスト展にドゥローイングで参加。主な作品は、「We Are Elegant」「Garden」「天使の監視」「世界のへそ」「視線の彫刻」「流動性の法則」など。
